Investor Presentation - October 2007
Sultan Corporation owns the Peelwood Base Metals Project, located 70 kilometres south of Bathurst in NSW.
Contained within Peelwood is the 100% owned John Fardy deposit. SSC announced the maiden JORC Resource on that deposit on 12/9/07. It contains 862,000 tonnes with an average grade of 4.2% zinc, 1% copper, 0.5% lead and 13 grams of silver per tonne or 6.7% zinc equivalent.
This resource equates to approximately $200 million of metal in the ground.
A three month exploration programme of drilling and mapping along a 9 kilometre zone will start in late October.
The John Fardy resource starts at surface and is still open at depth. The Company anticipates to mine it (subject to a satisfactory Feasibility Study) by, first Open Cut, then Underground Stoping.
SSC has an experienced Board and Management with a strong background in Base Metals, Gold mining and Project Development.
The Company has approximately $3 million in cash, and is capped at less than $20 million and therefore should be highly leveraged to exploration success.
