Black Springs

The Black Springs zinc-lead prospect has been tested by 20 widely spaced diamond drill holes.  Nine of the holes intersected significant concentrations of zinc and lead sulphide mineralization.  The best intersection was 4.0 metres of 9.6% zinc, 3.62% lead and 31g/t silver.

There are five zones of ironstone gossan that outcrop over a strike length of approximately two kilometers.  The gossans have associated geochemical and geophysical anomalies.

SSC plans to drill the Black Springs' prospect together with the Peelwood mine and Central Hill prospect to to increase the resource at our John Fardy zinc-copper deposit.
